2023 Meadowbank Open

Important information for all ticketholders.

EVENT DATE

Saturday 18th February 2023

TRANSPORT

There will be two buses waiting at the Campbell Street bus stop outside of the Hotel Grand Chancellor to be boarded from 9.15am, with a strict 9:30am departure. Please don't be late!

At the end of the day, buses will depart Meadowbank around 6:00pm to return you outside The Metz in Sandy Bay, where people can kick on and replay the highlights of the day.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

Please advise us of any allergies or specific dietary requirements ASAP - please email mardi@meadowbank.com.au no later than TODAY!

DRESS-CODE

Please come dressed in your best interpretation of "Wimbledon Whites". Your white attire will look spectacular amongst the beautiful gardens of the Sue Ellis Arena, but please feel free to add your own sense of "extra flair". We will be awarding the 'Spirit of the Open' award to our very best spectator who combines a fabulous outfit with a positive and enthusiastic Mardi-style attitude (think all things fun and frivolous!).

WHAT TO BRING

We will have plenty of racquets available for those playing in the tournament, but please also feel free to bring along your own 1970s inspired wooden racquet (or any other design of choice). A picnic rug amongst friends never goes astray either.

PLAYER + SPECTATOR BIOS

As part of the fun, we enjoy weaving some "fun facts" in to the commentary on the day ("facts" being a very loose term...). If you have a brief point of interest about yourself or someone else who is attending, and would like to add some spice to the banter, please email alex@meadowbank.com.au no later than TODAY!
